二胡是典雅的東方音樂代表；鋼琴，是西方音樂殿堂的王者。當兩者相遇，將碰撞出怎樣的火花? 中央香港學院香港基金有限公司邀請三位香港十大傑出青年：香港中樂團二胡首席辛小紅、高胡首席辛小玲及香港著名鋼琴家鄭慧為本地知音獻上中西合壁的動人樂章，也為該基金籌集善款。而三位著名作曲家劉金文先生、麥偉鑄先生及陳能濟先生會以兩首世界首演的作品《如來藏》、《弦動 ─ 當二胡遇上鋼琴、結他》以及其他新編的二胡與鋼琴的經典作品展現兩種截然不同樂器的美妙交纏。

What kind of creative sparkles are created when the oriental instrument er-hu and the occidental instrument piano collaborate? The Central Conservatory of Music Hong Kong Foundation has invited three distinguished musicians to perform in its fund-raising concert: Xin Xiaohung and Xin Xiaoling, both principal er-hu players at Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, and Vivian Cheng, Hong Kong’s famous pianist. There will be world premiere of two pieces composed by Liu Wen-jin, Clarence Mak and Chan Ning-chi as well as classical pieces with new arrangement s.
