EOS Orchestra Academy at Central Conservatory of Music (EOS-ancient Greek, meaning dawn) is created by Maestro Yongyan HU, the Chinese-American conductor and the Central Conservatory of Music with unprecedented support from the China Ministry of Education and the China Ministry of Finance. EOS develops young musicians from across the Asia-Pacific region, with an initial focus on China. The most promising performers, who must have bachelor degree in music education, will be selected through audition to participate in a professional training program leading to a career path as a capable orchestral performer qualified to play symphonic music anywhere in the world. So far, no existing Asian institution yet delivers such an intensive, practical program of orchestral training.

Under the direction of Maestro Yongayn HU, prior to its official launching time, EOS has been invited to perform at Young-Euro-Classic, Berlin Festival and Beethoven Festival, Bonn in Germany 2005 and 2004 received rave reviews such as A Symphony Orchestra From China (WAZ Essen)

Most recently, EOS was invited to perform at the G-20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors?Meeting in Beijing, has been extremely well received and praised by all the international dignitaries and audiences alike. EOS is about launching its inaugural season in early 2006.
